Camera assistant Steve Ruiz and Sam Barker (electric) on set

Being a grip sure helps when you want to mount “your own” camera!

James Coburn, that episodes guest star was also the star of one of my favorite WWII movies “Cross of Iron” done by Sam Peckinpah. We had tons of sports figures come through but this was one of the only autographs I asked for in the 5 years I did the show.
